Minor allegedly kidnapped, beaten, bound, and abandoned under tree by 2 adults

HOUSTON COUNTY, Ala. (TCD) -- Two people from Alabama were arrested after allegedly kidnapping a minor and transporting her across state lines from Alabama to Florida, where they beat and bound her under a tree.
According to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, on Saturday, Nov. 5, at approximately 6:15 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a possible abduction and "found a minor with her hands bound behind her back."
Upon further investigation, authorities reportedly learned that Coby Jerome Jordan picked up the victim on Friday, Nov. 4. Two other females met up with them, including Molly Michele Jarrett, the Sheriff's Office said.
On Saturday, Nov. 5, at approximately 1 a.m., the suspects brought the victim to an abandoned building, where, according to the Sheriff's Office, "Jordan beat her and bound her hands and feet." Later on, the victim was allegedly abandoned under a tree and was able to escape.
Jordan was reportedly arrested and charged with robbery, false imprisonment, tampering with a victim, and battery. The Sheriff's Office said Jarrett was charged with robbery, false imprisonment, tampering with a victim, and battery.
