La. woman arrested for allegedly attacking police officer

SHREVEPORT, La. (TCD) -- A 31-year-old woman was taken into custody for reportedly attacking a police officer, causing him to get injured.
According to Shreveport Police, on March 16, officers responded to Kings Highway and Gilbert Street regarding a "suspicious person" and located Andi Lynn Foshee. She allegedly "became combative and caused injuries" to one of the Shreveport officers, and was arrested on two counts of felony battery on a police officer, one count of resisting with force of violence, one count of drug paraphernalia, and one count of improper telephone communication.
Police said it required multiple officers to take her into custody.
The officer who was injured is reportedly expected to make a full recovery.
