ADA COUNTY, Idaho (TCD) -- A 31-year-old man is accused of killing a 39-year-old victim who allegedly fatally stabbed the suspect’s 52-year-old mother one day prior.
According to a news release from the Ada County Sheriff’s Office, on Wednesday, March 29, shortly before 7 a.m., deputies responded to a parking lot at an Avimor gas station, where they found the victim, Jesus Urrutia, deceased from a "sharp force injury wound to the chest."
Urrutia was reportedly "slumped over in a car, which was running but in park."
Despite lifesaving measures, the Sheriff’s Office said Urrutia was transported to a local hospital, where he was officially pronounced dead.
Upon further investigation, officials reportedly identified Raul Cuevas as a suspect in the case. He was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail for first-degree murder without bail.
According to the Nampa Police Department, the victim, Urrutia, was a suspect in the stabbing death of Cuevas’ mother, Michelle Luna. Police said Luna was found fatally stabbed on March 28 in the 2100 block of West Grouse Street.
