'Demonic' Fla. gang member accused of killing Uber Eats driver whose remains were found in trash bags

PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (TCD) -- Deputies arrested a 30-year-old man with ties to a notorious gang for allegedly robbing, killing, and dismembering an Uber Eats employee who was delivering food to his house.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, on April 19 at approximately 7 p.m., an Uber Eats employee arrived at Oscar Adrian Solis' house to deliver food that Solis' father ordered for him. When the driver got there, Solis allegedly tried robbing him, then killed him. The Sheriff's Office said no one else was home at the time and the two did not know each other prior to the incident.
On Friday, April 21, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office received a call about a body found on Moog Road and officials could not identify the victim or cause of death at first. Then, the Pasco-Pinellas Medical Examiner positively identified the victim and cause of death, though the Sheriff's Office did not reveal either one except that the victim died by homicide.
Home surveillance footage allegedly captured Solis attempting to rob the driver.
In a news conference Tuesday, April 25, Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco called the case "gruesome" and Solis a "very violent individual" and "demonic."
According to Nocco, the victim dropped off his wife at home in the early afternoon and began delivering food. At 6:43 p.m., he texted his wife to say he was finishing his last delivery and he would be home soon. His wife texted him again at 7:13 p.m., but he didn't respond. The wife reported him missing later that night, and Pasco County deputies began looking into the man's disappearance.
Uber provided the Pasco County Sheriff's Office with the victim's last coordinates, which led investigators to Solis' home on Moog Road. Surveillance footage from Solis' home also allegedly shows him and one other person carrying "several" trash bags to the side of the house. Detectives obtained a warrant to search the bags and discovered human remains inside the bags.
Deputies initially arrested Solis on failure to register as a felon and parole violation.
The Pasco County Sheriff's Office also shared photos of two individuals who were reportedly at Solis' house about an hour before the killing. Nocco reiterated that the two people were not in trouble, but he just wanted to speak with them to get information about Solis.
Solis, who is affiliated with the gang MS-13, was recently released from prison in Indiana and has a lengthy criminal record with convictions including burglary, battery, auto theft, and more.
Deputies arrested him again for felony murder April 24.
Pasco County Jail records show Solis is being held without bond.
