DOVER, N.H. (TCD) -- A jury convicted a 19-year-old man of several charges a year after he was caught hiding in the attic of a woman he met on OnlyFans and taking pictures of her while she slept.
WMUR-TV reports Mauricio Guerrero was found guilty of four counts of burglary, criminal trespass, and invasion of privacy. Guerrero’s attorney told WMUR the teen is "young, naïve, and was hoping someone could help him."
Guerrero was arrested in February 2022 after the victim, who remained unnamed, heard someone inside her home. Somersworth Police arrived at the residence and found Guerrero on the roof. Police said he drove to New Hampshire from Pennsylvania and the two knew each other from social media.
According to WMUR, at the trial, Guerrero testified that he started talking to the woman in 2021 through OnlyFans and she "wanted to be stalked." He reportedly claimed the woman professed her love to him and had a fantasy of being followed.
The victim, however, reportedly said in court she was oftentimes drunk during their conversations. Guerrero reportedly visited the woman six times in New Hampshire even though the victim wouldn’t see him most of the time. She admitted they saw each other once and had sex.
According to Guerrero’s arrest affidavit, he sent the victim photos and videos of himself in front of her mother’s house and recorded photos of the victim as she slept, including one of her genitalia. Guerrero also left food in the attic and planned to track the victim’s car.
Guerrero will be sentenced in July and could face a maximum of several decades in prison. In the meantime, he is out on bail with a GPS monitor.
