Fla. teen accused of killing man in front of his child and mother

HOMESTEAD, Fla. (TCD) -- Police are actively searching for a 19-year-old man accused of fatally shooting a father in front of his 1-year-old child last month.
According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, Monico Galban allegedly killed a 27-year-old man Monday, May 29, at around 12:18 p.m. near 528 NW 3 Ave. The Miami-Dade and the Florida Keys Crime Stoppers identified the victim as Jose Guajardo.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue arrived at the scene and airlifted Guajardo to the Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center in critical condition, WSVN-TV reports. He died several days later from his wounds.
Investigators reportedly believe Guajardo was with his mother and 1-year-old child in his front yard when Galban allegedly walked up with a gun and shot Guajardo.
Galban remains on the run, and Miami-Dade Police are offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information leading up to an arrest.
