ANAHEIM, Calif. (TCD) -- It was a small world after all for one woman who was arrested after trying to evade arrest at Disneyland by hiding near one of the theme park’s popular roller coasters.
An Anaheim Police spokesperson told KTLA-TV officers went to the park June 17 after a woman allegedly entered Disneyland without paying by jumping over the turnstiles. Officers reportedly caught up with the woman and apprehended her near Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at Big Thunder Mountain Railroad Trail.
A TikTok video shows officers walking through the park in Frontierland and later escorting a woman out with her hands behind her back.
SFGATE reports the woman was taken into custody on a charge of defrauding an innkeeper. She could face six months in county jail and a fine if she is charged and convicted.
A one-day adult ticket for Disneyland costs between $159 and $179 depending on the day of the week.
