Male 'Sticky Note Bandit' accused of robbing 4 banks within 2 weeks while dressed as a woman

HOUSTON (TCD) -- The Federal Bureau of Investigation Violent Crime Task Force is working to identify and locate a man they say allegedly robbed four different banks within two weeks while dressed as a female.
According to a news release from the Federal Bureau of Investigation Houston Field Office, the suspect, known as the "Sticky Note Bandit," allegedly robbed the Hancock Whitney Bank on North Loop West on Wednesday, July 5, at around 1:30 p.m.
In the first robbery, federal agents said the suspect "entered the bank dressed as a female" and handed over a threatening "sticky note" to a bank teller demanding cash. The robber reportedly fled the bank on foot with an "undisclosed amount of money."
Nearly a week later, on July 11, shortly after noon, the "Sticky Note Bandit" allegedly tried to rob the Wells Fargo at 13106 Woodforest Blvd.
In the second robbery, the suspect allegedly handed over a threatening sticky note again, but the teller escaped into a locked back room. The suspect reportedly waited in the lobby before eventually fleeing the bank without any money.
In the third incident, federal agents said the suspect struck again at a Wells Fargo Bank on Bissonnet Street on Thursday, July 13, at approximately 3:30 p.m., and successfully came out with an "undisclosed amount of money."
Most recently, on Tuesday, July 18, the Federal Bureau of Investigation Houston Field Office said the "Sticky Note Bandit" robbed a Bank of America on San Felipe Street.
No one was physically harmed during the robberies.
Federal agents posted surveillance photos of the suspect and said he wore a black wig, sunglasses, a mask, a green women’s sweater, ballet flats, and a black bag. Officials have asked for the public’s help with any information leading to an arrest and are offering a reward of up to $5,000.
