ROCKDALE COUNTY, Ga. (TCD) -- Law enforcement officials announced this week they arrested the brother-in-law of a missing woman who was found dead several weeks after she disappeared.
Imani Roberson was last seen alive July 16 after she went to her mother’s house with her four children for dinner. She left two of her kids to stay with her mother and took her 1-month-old and 3-year-old home with her. Roberson’s mom, Clarine Andujar-White, called Roberson the next day, but she didn’t answer. Andujar-White became worried because the two speak at least once a day, and she reported Roberson missing to the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office.
On July 27, Officials located Roberson’s burned Mazda SUV about 30 miles away from her home in Conyers. During their investigation, detectives found evidence of foul play at Roberson’s home.
About a week later, on Aug. 4, officials found Roberson’s body. Rockdale County deputies arrested her husband, Donell Anderson, on several charges, including malice murder and felony murder.
In a press conference that day, Rockdale County Sheriff Eric Levett said he could "assure" people there would be another arrest in the case. On Tuesday, Aug. 8, the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office said investigators received a tip about a potential second suspect in Roberson’s death and have "strong evidence" that Anderson’s brother, Cedarius Glaze, "played a key role in the disposal of Ms. Roberson’s body."
Investigators arrested Glaze on charges of tampering with evidence, concealment of a dead body, and arson.
