California man arrested after allegedly stalking ex and detonating explosives

YUCAIPA, Calif. (TCD) -- Officials arrested a 45-year-old man this week on suspicion of stalking his ex-girlfriend and detonating explosives.
According to a news release from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, on Monday, Dec. 18, at approximately 8:40 p.m., deputies and the Yucaipa Fire Department responded to the 12500 block of 4th Street in reference to an explosion and fire. Deputies said the "fire was suspicious in nature," and Cal Fire investigators were called in to assist.
Upon further investigation from deputies and Cal Fire law enforcement, officials learned of multiple explosions in the area over the previous week.
According to the sheriff's office, investigators identified Ryan Silva as a possible suspect. Silva was allegedly stalking his ex-girlfriend as well.
On Dec. 21, investigators served a search warrant at Silva's home and recovered additional evidence of his alleged crimes. Officials also located suspected methamphetamine and an unserialized gun. Additional charges are pending.
Another individual at the scene, Tiffany Marhoun, was arrested on a separate charge of possession of a controlled substance. She was booked into the Central Detention Center in San Bernardino.
Officials arrested Silva on charges of stalking and unlawful possession of an explosive device. He will be booked into the San Bernardino Jail on $500,000 bail.
