PORTLAND, Ore. (TCD) -- Police located a wanted homicide suspect deceased in Washington this week after she allegedly killed her husband last month.
According to a news release from the Portland Police Bureau, on Friday, Jan. 26, at approximately 8:45 a.m., officers responded to the 9300 block of Southeast Sun Crest Drive in reference to a missing man, 37-year-old Phillip Pierce. Officers forced entry and found Pierce dead inside the home after learning he might have been locked inside.
The medical examiner later determined Pierce died from a gunshot wound.
Police identified the victim’s wife, Analiesa Golde, as the primary suspect in her husband’s shooting death and said she was wanted for second-degree murder.
Investigators suspected Golde fled to southwest Washington in a 2015 Toyota 4Runner and asked the public for help in finding her.
The search came to an end when police found Golde dead Tuesday, Feb. 20, from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound in the Long Beach, Washington, area. Law enforcement officials also recovered her vehicle.
