NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TCD) -- A 44-year-old woman was found deceased in a body of water over the weekend almost two weeks after she went missing.
Emily Bradley was last seen leaving her home and getting into her 2014 Chevrolet Cruze on Feb. 18, and she was reported missing to the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department on Feb. 21.
Then, on Saturday, March 2, officials discovered Bradley's body in Whites Creek near Buena Vista Park. The medical examiner conducted an autopsy and determined she died from blunt force trauma. Bradley's car, however, is missing. Metro Nashville Police said the Cruze has a "noticeable dent on the trunk."
When she first disappeared, one of Bradley's friends told WKRN-TV, "We just know, we know in our heart of hearts that something is off."
Her friends found it concerning that Bradley left her service dog at home without anyone else to look after him. She also reportedly missed her first day of work at a new job.
Another friend said, "Everything in my core says that there’s something off."
