University of Missouri student disappears during night out in Nashville

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (TCD) -- Police are continuing to search for a 22-year-old University of Missouri student who disappeared Friday night after getting kicked out of a bar in downtown Nashville.
The Metro Nashville Police Department released video footage that showed Riley Strain crossing 1st Avenue North to Gay Street at 9:47 p.m. He was not seen after that. Police searched the area around, including the banks of the Cumberland River "to no avail."
According to WKRN-TV, Strain and his fraternity brothers traveled from Missouri to Nashville for their fraternity formal. He was at Luke Bryan's bar, but was reportedly asked to leave. Surveillance video from a nearby smoke shop caught Strain fall down, get up, and continue walking.

His friends reportedly attempted to use Snapchat to find his exact location, but they were not able to reach him. Strain's phone was reportedly turned off and last pinged a cell tower near the bar he was at.
Strain's fraternity posted on social media saying they were "deeply concerned" for his safety.
Strain's father told ABC News, "He’s a good kid. He was down here looking forward to a fun weekend. We want to bring him back home safe."
