VACAVILLE, Calif. (TCN) -- The discovery of a burned body earlier this month led to the recent arrests of a 52-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman.
On the morning of April 13, the Solano County Sheriff's Office responded to Cherry Glen Road in reference to a deceased individual found burned. Deputies located the body of a victim, later identified as Adam Muela, with apparent gunshot wounds, and a homicide investigation ensued.
Through collecting evidence, conducting witness interviews, and analyzing forensics, authorities identified Clifton Summersie and Maria DeLeon as the primary suspects in Muela's death. They were arrested on April 22 and booked into the Solano County Jail on charges of murder and robbery.
In a statement, Sheriff Thomas Ferrara said, "Our team worked tirelessly to bring those responsible to justice. We are committed to ensuring the safety of our community and will continue to pursue all leads in this case."
