After her son's suspicious death, John Umberger's mother went on a mission for answers and learned another young man, Julio Ramirez, died under similar circumstances. Both Julio and John were enjoying a night out at gay clubs in Manhattan before they were lured, drugged, killed, and robbed. Thanks to renewed investigation efforts, Jayqwan Hamilton, Robert DeMaio, and Jacob Barroso were all accused of plotting to drug and rob the victims in an alleged crime ring.
