New Hampshire woman accused of fatally stabbing her mother in the neck

SEABROOK, N.H. (TCN) -- Authorities recently arrested a 24-year-old woman on suspicion of fatally stabbing her 45-year-old mother, who police found deceased in her home over the weekend.
According to a news release from the New Hampshire Department of Justice, on the night of June 29, Seabrook Police responded to the Rockingham Village Apartments, where they discovered Cheryl Stoddard deceased. An autopsy revealed Stoddard died from a single stab wound to her neck, WMUR-TV reports.
Authorities identified Stoddard's daughter, Brynn Comtois, as the primary suspect and arrested her on one count of second-degree murder. Police did not release a motive.
