San Antonio parents allegedly abused and killed 10-year-old adopted child

SAN ANTONIO (TCN) -- A couple stands accused of abusing and killing their 10-year-old adopted child.
According to the San Antonio Police Department, the victim was found unresponsive in his home on Sept. 24. Investigators allege the child suffered continuous trauma to the body for approximately a year.
On Oct. 2, police announced the arrests of the victim's adoptive parents, 34-year-old Jonathan Miranda and 32-year-old Christina Miranda, in connection with his death. They each face a charge of capital murder.
