OCOEE, Fla. (TCN) -- A Florida woman has been charged with the sexual abuse of a child and creating pornographic materials to share with a federal inmate.
On Dec. 17, Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced Taylor Michelle Dorsey, 33, was charged with eight felony counts of sexual abuse of a child over 12 and the creation and distribution of related materials.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement began an investigation based on a tip generated by Yahoo that Dorsey had uploaded multiple files containing child sexual abuse material, according to the attorney general.
During the investigation, authorities learned Dorsey had allegedly sexually abused a child and produced pornographic materials. She then allegedly shared those materials with an inmate serving time in federal prison for child sexual abuse and possession of child pornography, according to the attorney general. The inmate’s name has not been released.
AOL reports the nature of the relationship between Dorsey and the inmate has not been disclosed.
A search warrant was executed at Dorsey’s home on Dec. 10 and she was arrested there. She is being held without bond, and the attorney general says more charges could be announced.
