MARYSVILLE, Ohio (TCN) -- A man has been indicted on charges of abduction and disrupting public services after allegedly running personal errands in a Jeep Wrangler with a dealership saleswoman and refusing to let her leave the vehicle.
According to court documents obtained by WBNS, Todd Marrs, 51, arrived at the Performance Luxury Sport car dealership Dec. 19, 2025, and requested to test-drive a Jeep Wrangler with a sales associate. The documents state Marrs drove to a warehouse near train tracks and sat in a parking lot for several minutes. When the associate, who has not been named, told Marrs to return to the dealership, he allegedly told her, “No, now you’ll sit there and wait like a good girl.”
The associate then texted a colleague at the dealership and shared her phone’s location, WBNS reports. When she attempted to call her colleague, Marrs allegedly took her phone and threw it on the floorboard. Marrs then allegedly drove to a hospital to pick up a friend and told the associate he would not return to the dealership until his personal errands were done.
He then reportedly drove back to the dealership with the associate and the friend he had picked up.
The Shore News Network reports the associate reported the incident to the authorities after she was dropped off. Marrs was arrested Jan. 4.
Marrs was arraigned and is being held on $250,000 bond, per WBNS. According to the Shore News Network, he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 29.
