Mom of 3 found stabbed to death after kids run to North Carolina neighbor's house

BATTLEBORO, N.C. (TCD) --
A 33-year-old North Carolina man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder for allegedly stabbing his wife to death, prompting children to go to a neighbor's house to report the incident.
Nash County Sheriff's deputies responded to a 911 call reporting an unconscious person at a residence on Pine Street at about 10:15 a.m. Sunday.
Children from that residence reportedly went next door to their neighbor's house and told them someone had been stabbed.
Deputies arrested Alexander Dzikowski, 33, at the scene.
The female victim was stabbed multiple times and died from her injuries, the sheriff's office said.
Dzikowski was hospitalized for unspecified injuries, and was later transferred to another medical facility. He was set to be charged with first-degree murder, according to the sheriff's office. A motive was not determined.
WRAL-TV reports the victim was Alexander Dzikowski's wife.
WTVD-TV reports the victim was identified as Tiara Dzikowski, 34, mother of the three children between the ages of 5 and 12 who ran next door.
