Cousin of man convicted in Bali suitcase murder pleads guilty to conspiracy charge

CHICAGO -- (WGN) -- A man accused of helping a Chicago woman kill her mother in Bali plead guilty in a Cook County Court Tuesday.
Robert Bibbs is accused of helping Heather Mack and her boyfriend Tommy Schaefer plan the murder in 2014. Bibbs is Schaefer's cousin.
The murder made international headlines when Sheila von Wiese-Mack's body was found in a suitcase.
Mack and her boyfriend are serving prison terms in Indonesia for the murder.

Bibbs is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and solicitation of a violent crime. He pled guilty to the conspiracy charge.
As part of the deal, he'll serve no more than 20 years in prison. Bibbs is due back in court in march.
