Chicago carjacker finds toddler in backseat; returns child, then drives off again

Police in Chicago are searching for a man who allegedly stole a woman's car, only to discover a 3-year-old child sitting in the backseat.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a 26-year-old woman was delivering food on the 900 block of North Richmond in the city's Humboldt Park neighborhood Friday at around 6:40 p.m. A man allegedly pulled her out of her car and drove off in it, the Sun-Times reports, citing Chicago Police.

The suspect reportedly realized the victim's daughter was still in the back seat of the Nissan SUV, then drove around the block and returned the toddler. The suspect then drove away.
WMAQ-TV reports police said the daughter was returned unharmed. The victim went to Norwegian Hospital, where she was treated for bruises on her arms. She has since been released.
The victim's SUV was later found on the 900 block of North California, according to WMAQ. Chicago Police Department officers are still searching for the suspect.
