BALTIMORE (TCD) -- Police arrested a 30-year-old man over the weekend for allegedly shooting and killing a 32-year-old man at a trampoline park while the suspect was visiting his daughter.
According to Baltimore County Police, on Saturday, Aug. 12, at around 7 p.m., officers were called to Sky Zone in Timonium regarding a shooting. Upon their arrival, police found Marcus Whitehead with several gunshot wounds. Medics transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police arrested Quinton Walker the next day on a charge of first-degree murder. He was booked into the Baltimore County Detention Center and is being held without bond.
WJZ-TV reports Walker was in town from Colorado to see his daughter, so he and his ex set up a planned visit at Sky Zone.
When Walker arrived, he allegedly noticed Whitehead "staring at him," and Whitehead reportedly said he would slap Walker, according to court documents cited by WBAL-TV. The two men then "exchanged words."
According to WJZ, the charging documents say Walker "stated then at some point, victim Whitehead stood up and started walking toward him so he withdrew his firearm and fired all rounds that he had loaded in the gun."
After the shooting, Walker turned himself in to Anne Arundel County Police. Officers found him in a U-Haul, which he said he wanted to return before he called police.
