OAKFIELD, N.Y. (TCD) -- A 37-year-old man stands accused of killing his father after his body was found in their shared home on Sunday.
According to WIVB-TV, first responders received a call from a concerned family member requesting a welfare check on 69-year-old Martin Maher on Sunday morning. Deputies arrived at Maher’s Oakfield home on Drake Street and discovered him dead. WIVB reports Maher’s death is being treated as a homicide.
