Man allegedly kidnapped Cincinnati woman who was found dead in her car in Tennessee

CINCINNATI (TCD) -- A 32-year-old man was apprehended in Tennessee over the weekend after he allegedly kidnapped a woman who was later found dead inside her car.
According to Cincinnati Police, on Friday, Aug. 18, at 11:52 p.m., officers went to the 2800 block of Temple Avenue for a report of a shooting. When they got there, they found "evidence of a shooting and a possible kidnapping."
During their investigation, police learned a female victim "might have been injured and held against her will in her vehicle that was taken." The victim’s car was later located in Tennessee and the victim was found dead inside. Police arrested Lance Miller, who was also in the car, on charges of murder and kidnapping.
WCPO-TV reports the victim has been identified as 36-year-old Kaitlyn Lynch.
Law enforcement officials engaged in a long pursuit with Miller and eventually apprehended him on Interstate 40 after deploying spike strips. He will reportedly be extradited back to Ohio to face charges. He is currently in custody at the Wilson County Jail for evading arrest, abuse of a corpse, and being a fugitive from justice.
