The Los Angeles Police Department identified the suspect as Angela Flores. They also confirmed the teenager was detained "for further investigation." According to KTLA, the teen is Flores' son.
Flores was booked into the Van Nuys Jail for three counts of her murder. Her bail is set at $6 million. The teen was taken to Sylmar Juvenile Hall for one count of murder.
According to NBC Los Angeles, Flores was initially taken to a hospital for mental health concerns.
Some of Flores' neighbors told KTLA they allegedly saw her screaming on Saturday night and holding onto a candle and the Bible.
