WOBURN, Mass. (TCD) -- A 40-year-old missing mother was found dead Tuesday after reportedly not returning home from a date.
The Woburn Police Department announced Sherell Pringle’s body was located in Saugus after a dayslong search for her. Pringle reportedly had not been seen or heard from since Dec. 18.
According to WBZ-TV, the Essex County District Attorney’s Office said "foul play is suspected" in Pringle’s death. Pringle’s 19-year-old son Jahmani Larionne told WBZ he found his mother by tracking her phone, ultimately discovering it in a sewer. Her family reportedly discovered Pringle’s purse and then her body a short distance away, according to NECN-TV.
WHDH-TV reports Pringle was in Boston Saturday night with her on-again, off-again boyfriend. The man, whose identity was not released, reportedly told investigators he dropped her off at home, but Larionne disputes that.
Larionne said, "I was home. I would’ve heard the door slam."
He also told WHDH Pringle "would’ve come into my room" and then gone to her room to go to sleep.
No arrests have been made in the case.
