AURORA, Colo. (TCD) -- A 29-year-old woman is in custody after police found a "clandestine grave in the crawl space of her condo."
According to a news release from the Aurora Police Department, officials were notified about a missing man who was possibly killed approximately "six to eight months ago inside a condo in the 14600 block of East 2nd Avenue." Police also learned the missing man's body was believed to be "buried in a crawl space and covered in concrete."
The victim had reportedly been missing since last summer.
Police detectives served a search warrant at the home and found a concealed grave under the floor, and the excavation process to recover the body ensued. Officials said the process may last through the end of the week.
The Arapahoe County Coroner's Office will perform an autopsy and will release the cause and manner of death. The victim's name will reportedly be released after contacting next of kin.
The owner of the condo, Casie Bock, was arrested on Tuesday, April 4, and booked into the Aurora Jail for accessory to homicide. She remains held without bond.
Police said a second suspect in the case was identified, and he is "incarcerated in another jurisdiction on a separate incident." His name will be released when he's arrested for this case.
