Florida woman arrested after returning home with missing mom's van

UPDATE March 11, 2020:
Vero Beach woman Crystal Kohler, 38, confessed to killing her 81-year-old mother after an argument and covering the body with boxes and blankets in an effort to hide the body, according to an Indian River County Sheriff's Office report.
Crystal Kohler, 38, was arrested Monday night on charges of first-degree murder and grand theft auto.
WPTV reports Kohler admitted to killing her mother, Carmelina Kohler, who had been reported missing earlier in the day, in the garage of their home. Detectives said Carmelina Kohler had stab wounds to her abdomen and neck.

VERO BEACH, Fla. (WPTV) -- The adopted daughter of a missing woman has been arrested in Vero Beach.
Carmelina Kohler was last seen by her husband Monday, when Carmelina and her adopted daughter Crystal Marie Kohler were heading to a nail salon on 12th Street and US 1.
The Indian River County Sheriff's Office says Crystal returned to their home in Carmelina's blue van without Carmelina. Authorities say Carmelina's phone was found on 27th Avenue and Aviation Boulevard, but say she had no reason to be there.
Crystal Kohler was arrested and charged with grand theft auto and driving with a suspended license.
Carmelina Kohler is described as standing 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds. She has shoulder-length red and brown hair.
