SALEM, Ore. (TCD) -- Officials arrested a 20-year-old Portland man in California this week on suspicion of killing a teen girl whose body was found in March.
According to a news release from the Marion County Sheriff's Office, on March 2, shortly after midnight, deputies responded to Embassy Way NE near Satter Drive NE to a report of gunshots. Deputies found a woman, later identified as 19-year-old Jissel Segura, suffering from gunshot wounds inside a vehicle, and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials launched a homicide investigation, but no arrests were made at the time.
