Deputies allege South Carolina woman forced child into sex

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (WYFF) -- A Spartanburg County woman was arrested after deputies say she forced a child to have sex with her, according to documents from the Sheriff's Office.
Christina Claire Donahue, 37, of Cowpens, was arrested Tuesday, Feb. 9, according to the Spartanburg County Detention Center website. She faces a charge of second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child between the age of 11 and 14, warrants show.
Warrants said the child was assaulted last year between Jan. 5 and July 22, and the crime was reported in September. During an evening bond hearing, Donahue's attorney said she turned herself in to police early Tuesday morning.
The judge set Donahue's bond at $15,000. She was also ordered to have GPS monitoring and have no contact with the victim or family. Donahue's next court appearance is on April 22.
