LINCOLN, Neb. (TCD) --
Three Nebraska men were arrested after an 18-year-old woman told police she was drugged, physically and sexually assaulted, and held captive for several days.
Lincoln Police officers responded to the unidentified woman’s report at an area hospital, the Lincoln Journal Star reports. She told officers she had run away from her home on May 13, and had been reported missing.
The woman told police she interacted with a man on social media on Friday, May 15, and went to his apartment on May 16. Two men, identified as roommates 23-year-old Talon Dennis and 24-year-old Ricky Ossler, were at the apartment, located on the 400 block of Fletcher Avenue, the Journal Star reports.
"She was also told that they would take care of her if she watched after their children and did housework for them," a police report states, according to KETV-TV.
The woman had met Dennis online, KETV reports. She told police she believed she he had been drugged by the men at the apartment.
KETV reports the woman told police she was taken to another apartment, on the 1600 block of Prospect Street, about 6 miles away. She said she was knocked unconscious, and said she woke up to being sexually assaulted by Dennis, Ossler and a third man.
She was allegedly taken back to the Fletcher Avenue apartment the next morning where she was allegedly “sexually assaulted by Ossler and Dennis several more times,” KETV reports.
She said she was held captive by the men for five days, and escaped when they left her at the apartment on Friday, May 21.
Saturday, Lincoln Police served a search warrant at the apartment on the 400 block of Fletcher Avenue, the Journal Star reports. Dennis and Ossler were arrested at the location. Gianni Phillips, 23, was arrested at his residence on the 1600 block of Prospect Street.
Talon Dennis and Gianni Phillips were both charged with first-degree sexual assault and first-degree false imprisonment. Ricky Ossler was arrested for first-degree sexual assault. Phillips and Ossler were also held on outstanding bench warrants. All three men were held without bond.
At the hospital, the woman was examined and found to have bruises, lacerations and abrasions consistent with her statement, KETV reported.
