DADEVILLE, Ala. (TCD) -- Four people, including three teenagers, were killed and over two dozen were injured during a shooting at a Sweet 16 birthday party over the weekend.
According to a statement, on Saturday, April 15, at approximately 10:34 p.m., shots rang out at a venue near the 2000 block of Broadnax Street in Dadeville. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency and State Bureau of Investigation arrived at the scene to begin investigating and learned four people suffered fatal gunshot wounds.
In a press conference Sunday, April 16, an Alabama Law Enforcement Agency official confirmed 28 people sustained injuries, though he said there was a "wide variety" of wounds.
