BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. (TCD) -- A mother was arrested and charged after allegedly threatening to blow up an elementary school.
According to a news release from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office, Tiffanimarie Pirozzi was in the pickup line at a school when a school resource deputy issued her a traffic citation, and she allegedly trespassed at the school. She was reportedly told to make arrangements to have someone else pick up her child, and she became upset.
Pirozzi threw the trespass warning out of the car window and "threatened to punch and beat" the principal’s "butt" if she could not come on campus to pick up her child, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Pirozzi also called 911 and said, "I need someone to meet me at the school and if someone don’t help me get my child, I will blow this b--ch up!" according to the Sheriff’s Office
As a result, the school was placed on lockdown until authorities could determine that Pirozzi was not a threat to the school staff or students, the Sheriff’s Office said.
She was reportedly arrested and booked into the Brevard County Jail for fleeing and eluding, operating a vehicle without a valid license, disturbing school function, and false report of a bomb. Pirozzi’s bond was reportedly set at $22,500.
