Police in California seek suspected serial killer with at least 5 alleged victims

STOCKTON, Calif. (TCD) -- The Stockton Police Department is searching for a suspected serial killer accused of killing at least five victims this year.
According to a news release from the department, investigators reviewed hours of video surveillance and believe they have found a person of interest. Police said there are five related homicide cases.
Police said the killings began on July 8 at around 12:31 a.m., when a 35-year-old white man was shot to death on the 5600 block of Kermit Lane. Nearly a month later, on Aug. 11 at around 9:39 p.m., police said a 43-year-old Hispanic man was shot dead in the 4900 block of West Lane. On Aug. 30, a 21-year-old Hispanic man was fatally shot in the 800 block E. Hammer Lane. On Sept. 21, a 52-year-old man was reportedly fatally shot on the 4400 block of Manchester Avenue, and on Sept. 27, a 54-year-old Hispanic man was shot dead on the 900 block of Porter Avenue.
All victims were allegedly alone when they were shot in the evening or early morning hours.
KCRA-TV identified the victims as 35-year-old Paul Alexander Yaw, 43-year-old Salvador William Dubedy Jr., 21-year-old Jonathan Hernandez Rodriguez, 52-year-old Juan Cruz, and 54-year-old Lorenzo Lopez.
According to police, the city of Stockton is offering a reward of up to $75,000 for information leading to an arrest. Stockton Crime Stoppers will also reportedly pay a $10,000 cash reward. Police posted a surveillance photo of the person of interest in their news release.
Even though most of the victims were Hispanic, police do not believe these are hate crimes.
