Calif. ambulance worker accused of sexually assaulting teen during medical transport

RIVERSIDE COUNTY, Calif. (TCD) -- A 22-year-old ambulance worker was arrested in late March after allegedly sexually assaulting a teen in the back of an ambulance.
According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, on Friday, March 25, an investigation was launched following allegations of a sexual assault against a teenage victim. The Sheriff’s Department alleges that Jason Anderson of Wildomar "sexually assaulted and solicited sexual acts from the teenage patient during a medical transport" while on duty. Anderson reportedly worked for the American Medical Response (AMR) transportation company.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, Anderson was arrested and booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center and charged with sexual assault against a minor. He remains held on $75,000 bail.
The Sheriff’s Department is seeking additional victims, and the investigation remains ongoing.
