VACAVILLE, Calif. (TCD) --
A Sacramento man was arrested and charged with two counts of murder last week after police say he live-streamed himself on social media with the bodies of two women on the floor in the background.
Vacaville Police officers performed a requested welfare check at the Rocky Hill Veterans Apartments on Rocky Hill Road at about 12:42 a.m. on Saturday, January 30. The caller said a man in an apartment there had live-streamed himself on social media carrying a gun, with two women seen motionless on the floor.
A SWAT team and negotiators were called to the scene, where the suspect reportedly barricaded himself inside the apartment, according to Vacaville Police. Negotiations were unsuccessful, police said, and after other apartment units were evacuated, "chemical agents were deployed."
Officers then entered the apartment and used a Taser on the suspect during a brief struggle, police said, at about 8:32 a.m.
Two women were found dead in the apartment. The causes of their deaths were under investigation.
Raymond Weber, 29, was held without bond at the Solano County Jail on two counts of murder. Weber was also wanted on an outstanding warrant for domestic battery and assault with a deadly weapon.
