ONTARIO, Calif. (TCD) -- Police arrested a 20-year-old man after they say he allegedly stole food from a Little Caesars pizza shop while carrying two firearms.
According to the Ontario Police Department, on Sunday, June 26, officers responded to a call about a man with a weapon at the Little Caesars located on the 600 block of West Holt Boulevard. Police say the suspect, Pablito Lucero, allegedly began "displaying a firearm that was observed in the waistband of his pants."
Lucero allegedly left the scene with stolen food, and police reportedly noticed a "large rifle seen in his shirt." Officers reportedly told him to stop and put his hands up, but Lucero did not comply. Ontario Police used a Taser on Lucero to subdue him and he was subsequently taken into custody.
The statement says police seized an AR-15 assault rifle and 9mm polymer handgun from him. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center on firearm and robbery charges.
No one inside the Little Caesars was injured.
San Bernardino County jail records show he is being held on $100,000 bail.
