BOONE COUNTY, Ind. (TCD) -- A 22-year-old man faces several charges after he allegedly got a 14-year-old drunk, sexually assaulted her, and sent her nude photos.
Boone County court records show Cameron Stamper has been charged with two counts of sexual misconduct with a minor, child solicitation, and two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to the affidavit cited by WXIN-TV, the 14-year-old reported the assault to a guidance counselor at Western Boone Junior-Senior High School in October, and later to someone at the Department of Child Services and a deputy at the Boone County Sheriff's Office. The assaults allegedly occurred over the summer.
WXIN reports the teen met Stamper at her friend's house, and she reportedly told officials Stamper "gave her weird vibes from the beginning."
One day, Stamper allegedly spoke with the girl's friend and asked if she and the victim wanted him to bring alcohol to her house. Stamper reportedly waited for his girlfriend to fall asleep, then went to the friend's house with apple wine.
Stamper allegedly made the victim drink the wine and "asked if she was drunk multiple times and when she advised that she was not, he told her to drink more."
When the girl was drunk, he reportedly invited the two teens to his car to smoke weed. Stamper purportedly asked the victim's friend to leave because he wanted to spend time with the victim alone.
He allegedly raped the girl in his car.
The next day, Stamper and the two teens were at his girlfriend's house when Stamper allegedly gave the girls alcohol again, then assaulted the victim in a bedroom.
The affidavit alleges Stamper sent the victim nude pictures following the assault.
Stamper's ex-girlfriend reportedly called him a "weirdo who tries to have sex" with the victim's friend. The ex said Stamper "tries to bribe her with weed, alcohol, and nicotine to do nasty things to him, and her little friends."
Boone County Jail records indicate he was arrested Feb. 14 and is scheduled to go to trial in May.
