Man throws hot coffee on Loomis Armored Car carrier; steals bag of money

LITHONIA, Ga. -- (WGCL) -- Police are searching for the man who was captured on surveillance robbing a Loomis Armored Car carrier Monday.
Authorities say the man threw a hot cup of coffee on the courier as he was servicing an ATM inside a QuickTrip on Panola Road in Lithonia. The man then grabbed the courier's bag which contained the money to service the machines.
The robber is described as a black male, early to mid-20s in age, 5'8" to 5'9" in height, with a slender build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a white construction/safety vest, brown work boots and sunglasses.
