MARION COUNTY, Fla. (TCD) -- A 30-year-old woman faces several felony charges after she allegedly stabbed her roommates during an argument, then left and went shopping.
According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, on Sept. 16 at 8:03 a.m., deputies responded to a call from a woman who reported she had been stabbed. When officials arrived, they found two victims suffering from apparent stab wounds, and one of them reportedly identified Christina Adams as the suspect.
Deputies located Adams nearby and detained her. Adams allegedly claimed at first she did not have anything to do with the stabbings, then reportedly said she was "angry over being asked to leave the home that she shared with the victims."
Adams allegedly told investigators she grabbed a "large knife" and stabbed both of the victims, who remain unnamed, "multiple times." After the stabbing, she allegedly "attempted to destroy evidence" and left. She reportedly changed her clothes and went shopping afterwards, thinking the two victims were dead.
Marion County Jail records show Adams is being held without bond on two counts of attempted homicide and tampering with evidence.
