LOS ANGELES -- (CWD) -- As police struggle to find leads in the case of murdered New York jogger Karina Vetrano, Crime Watch Daily host Chris Hansen has exclusively learned that her family has increased the amount of reward money from $100,000 to $200,000.
Hansen sat down with Vetrano's parents, Phil and Cathie Vetrano, for their first nationally televised interview. In their emotional exchange, Phil Vetrano makes a passionate plea to find his daughter's killer saying, “somebody knows something...all it takes is a phone call to the tip line.”
Vetrano, 30, was strangled while out jogging on August 2. Her body was found by her father about five hours from the time she left home.
