North Carolina woman accused of stabbing ex to death

RED SPRINGS, N.C. (TCD) -- A 35-year-old woman stands accused of fatally stabbing her 51-year-old ex-boyfriend over the weekend.
On Saturday, June 10, shortly after 3 a.m., the Robeson County Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a person stabbed at 4587 Mt. Tabor Road, where deputies found Eddie Jones deceased.
The Sheriff's Office identified Santana Hunt as the primary suspect and arrested her on a charge of first-degree murder. She remains held in the Robeson County Detention Center without bond.
A family member told WNCN-TV that the victim was Hunt's ex-boyfriend, and he leaves behind 10 children.
The investigation is ongoing, and deputies have asked anyone with information regarding the case to contact the Sheriff's Office.
