South Carolina man accused of stabbing mother and stepfather with meat cleaver

SPARTANBURG COUNTY, S.C. (TCD) -- A 36-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing his mother and stepfather with a meat cleaver on Saturday, Dec. 18.
According to WSPA-TV, Spartanburg County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a home on Walker Run Drive at approximately 6 p.m. Deputies told WSPA that Travis Solesbee attacked two victims with a meat cleaver, striking both in the head.
The two victims were reportedly transported to a hospital for treatment.
According to records, Solesbee was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder and two counts of possession of a weapon during violent crime. He remains held without bond.
