Investigators seek info on camera found in missing Georgia man's vehicle

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. (TCD) --
Jesus Mancilla-Velez, 35, has been missing since September 5, and investigators are asking for the public's help with clues related to his disappearance.
On Sept. 5, a Crawford County resident reported an abandoned vehicle on a dirt road on their property. Investigators determined the vehicle belongs to Mancilla-Velez.
A task force including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, Houston County, Crawford County and Peach County sheriff's offices, as well as Byron and Fort Valley police departments, was created to search for Mancilla-Velez.
Investigators announced Wednesday they are seeking information about a camera that was found in the abandoned vehicle. The black Q-See brand video camera has lime-green or beige paint on its side, with has one red and one yellow connector, and it appears to have been unplugged, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

WGXA reports Mancilla-Velez lives on Red Fox Run in Warner Robins, in Houston County. Family members said he was last seen driving away from his home on Saturday, Sept. 5, driving a black 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe.
