FAIRFIELD, Calif. (TCD) -- Three people — including an active Air Force member — were arrested this week after a missing 19-year-old woman was found dead in another county.
According to the Fairfield Police Department, Leilani Beauchamp was last seen early in the morning on Oct. 30 leaving a Halloween party in Sacramento with two men who are both in the Air Force. The men reportedly live in a residence on Cascade Lane. Fairfield Police took a missing person report on the evening of Oct. 30 and found her remains the next day in Monterey County.
Fairfield Police worked alongside the Travis Air Force Base Office of Special Investigation and determined a "homicide occurred at the residence on Cascade Lane resulting in Leilani’s death," the statement said.
Twenty-one-year-old Jessica Quintanilla, 20-year-old Juan Parra-Peralta, and 27-year-old Marco Quintanilla were all arrested in connection to Beauchamp’s death. Jessica Quintanilla was charged with murder, her brother Marco faces charges of accessory to murder and violation of parole, and Parra-Peralta was taken into custody for accessory to murder. Marco Quintanilla was reportedly out on parole related to a felony conviction for attempted murder, Fairfield Police said in their statement.
According to Solano County Jail records, Jessica Quintanilla was denied bail and Marco Quintanilla is being held on $50,000 bail. CBS San Francisco reports Parra-Peralta was released Monday on $25,000 bail and returned to Travis Air Force Base.
Solano County Chief Deputy District Attorney Paul Sequeira told KXTV-TV, "There is some indication that there might be a love triangle."
CBS San Francisco reports Sequiera believes Jessica Quintanilla and Parra-Peralta were in a relationship. Leilani’s grandmother Monica Beauchamp told the station Leilani knew the men she left with, adding, "She didn’t leave a party with people she didn’t know."
