3 Calif. teens accused of assaulting elderly man and killing pizza delivery driver

STANTON, Calif. (TCD) -- Deputies arrested three teenagers this week who allegedly assaulted an elderly man and fatally shot a pizza delivery man who tried to intervene in 2022.
According to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, on June 28, 2022, at approximately 7:21 p.m., deputies responded to the 7000 block of Lessue Avenue, where they found a 49-year-old man, Juan Cristalinas, and a 76-year-old man in the street suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The men were transported to the hospital, where Cristalinas was pronounced deceased.
Medical staff treated the 76-year-old man for injuries that were not life-threatening.
The suspects fled the scene before deputies arrived.
The Sheriff’s Office said Cristalinas was a pizza delivery driver and allegedly tried to stop the male suspects from assaulting the 76-year-old man.
Officials served search warrants at three different locations and identified three suspects, 19-year-old Henry Le of Garden Grove, 19-year-old Adrian Castaneda of Anaheim, and 18-year-old Damian Mayorga of Anaheim. On Wednesday, July 5, they were taken into custody and booked into the Orange County Jail on a charge of murder.
