CONCORD, N.H. -- (AP/WBZ) -- Police have linked the murders of a woman and three children in Allenstown to a woman's 1981 disappearance and a 2001 murder in California.
Police say Bob Evans, who died in prison in 2010, is responsible for numerous murders and at least one woman's disappearance spanning from the 1980s to the early 2000s. One of Evans' victims was his own child.

At a press conference Thursday, police revealed new information in the cold case murders of a woman and three children found murdered in barrels in Allenstown. Two of the bodies — a woman and a girl — were found in 1985, and the bodies of two more girls were found in 2000.
The child who was between ages 2 and 4 was Evans' child, and the other two children – one older and one younger- belonged to the woman found dead with them.
These deaths, investigators say, are linked to the disappearance of 23-year-old Denise Beaudin, Evans' then girlfriend, who went missing in 1981. Beaudin's family did not report her missing, however, because they believed she left with Evans and her daughter because of financial trouble. Evans apparently took Beaudin's daughter, who goes by Lisa, to a different state with him and abandoned her. Lisa is alive and well today with a family of her own.
Police say Evans also murdered Eunsoon Jun in 2001, who he unofficially married in California. She was found dismembered in her basement and Evans, who then went by Lawrence Vanner, was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison, where he died in 2010. Because Evans is responsible for numerous deaths, police are concerned about the whereabouts of the mother of the child found murdered in Allenstown.
“We know that Evans killed Eunsoon Jun in California, we believe he killed Denise Beaudin, we have concerns about the mother of the middle child in Allenstown and we have four victims in Allenstown,” New Hampshire Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Strelzin said. “Based on his behavior, there could be others.”
Evans went by numerous aliases over the years, traveling from place to place without a permanent home. He worked as an electrician and handyman across the country, including a short stint in Allenstown that would have given him access to the place where the four people were found murdered. The people dead in the barrels were bound with electrical wire, police said, and Evans was an electrician. Police also noted similarities between those deaths and Eunsoon Jun's, including all people died from blunt force trauma.
Denise's whereabouts are still unknown, and police have not identified the woman and two other children found in Allenstown.
Authorities discovered Lisa is related to Beaudin after 2016 DNA tests confirmed she is her daughter. In a statement, Lisa said she now leads a happy life with a family of her own. She asked for privacy as this investigation continues.
Police are looking for any information on Evans available with hopes of finding Beaudin, and finding and identifying any other of Evans' victims.
