Zuzu Verk’s boyfriend arrested after shallow grave found

UPDATE Feb. 7, 2017: Chris Estrada, the second suspect in the Zuzu Verk case, was arrested by Phoenix Police Monday morning, KOSA-TV reports .
Estrada was arrested for the same charges as Zuzu's on-again, off-again boyfriend Robert Fabian -- tampering with or fabricating physical evidence by concealing a human corpse.
UPDATE Feb. 6, 2017: A body that was found Friday morning in a shallow grave has been identified as missing Sul Ross student Zuzu Verk, KOSA-TV reports.
According to the Brewster County Sheriff's Office, a forensics team in Dallas made the identification Monday. The body was found near Sunny Glen Canyon by a U.S. Border Patrol officer who was in the area checking on a lead regarding illegal immigrants, according to KOSA.
ALPINE, TX -- (KDAF) -- A major break in the case of Missing North Texas woman Zuzu Verk.
Police in West Texas arrested her boyfriend, Robert Fabian, Saturday morning. He's charged him with “tampering with or fabricating physical evidence by concealing a human corpse.”
The arrest comes one day after a U.S. Border Agent discovered human remains in a shallow grave near Alpine, not far from where Zuzu was last seen alive.
