Missing taxi driver found dead after final fare; 5 suspects sought in Georgia murder

CHERRY LOG, Ga. (TCD) --
Arrest warrants were issued for five suspects wanted for the murder of a Georgia woman found dead in a Gilmer County residence last week, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation announced.
Gilmer County Sheriff’s deputies performing a requested welfare check found a dead woman at a Cherry Log residence at about 7 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20.
The victim was identified as 37-year-old Bethlehem, Ga., resident Rossana Delgado. Her cause of death was not released pending autopsy results.
Delgado had been reported missing out of Barrow County, Ga., on April 16, 2021, after she was last seen in DeKalb County the same day.
On Saturday, murder warrants were issued for five suspects in connection to Delgado’s murder.
The suspects were identified as Megan Alyssa Colone, 30, of Stone Mountain, Ga.; Juan Ayala-Rodriguez, 35, of Gainesville, Ga.; Oscar Manuel Garcia, 26, of Austell, Ga.; and Mario Alberto Barbosa-Juarez, 29, of Oklahoma City, Okla. A fifth suspect was not identified by name.
Authorities said the suspects were believed to have left Georgia.
Megan Colone may be traveling under the alias “Grace Beda,” according to the GBI, and she is believed to be traveling with her minor children.

The Athens Banner-Herald reports Delgado, a mother of two children, was reported missing by her husband. Delgado was reportedly working as a taxi driver in Gwinnett County. Delgado’s husband said she told him she was dropping off a woman at the Plaza Fiesta in Doraville, according to the Banner-Herald.
The Banner-Herald reports a deputy contacted Delgado’s supervisor, who said she dropped her last customer off at 1:26 p.m. on April 16, and that her shift ended at 2 p.m.
WXIA-TV reports Delgado's husband tracked his wife's phone to a home in DeKalb County and said the signal was there for roughly one hour before heading to a public storage unit on Covington Highway, where Delgado's husband found a face mask with blood on it.
